everyday athlete® Methodology
Our method has evolved through years of practical experience and the application of scientific research.  Traditional methods of training, such as muscle isolation, machine based training, aerobic training, and linear speed training can all lead to injury and leave the body ill-prepared for the demands of life.  The everyday athlete draws upon fitness characteristics like:  dynamic balance, speed, agility, quickness, multi directional movement skills, muscle reactivity, joint stability, whole body reaction skills, multi-joint strength, whole body power initiation, core power, deceleration and other attributes.

Being the first functional based training studio in Brooklyn,  the everyday athlete continues to lead the industry with the creation of new sport conditioning training systems and methods.  Training with everyday athlete® will give you access to the most up to date training methods in the industry.

The everyday athlete is a facility designed to help you feel relaxed, motivated and inspired.  The everyday athlete® offers an exclusive private setting with no general memberships.  Your trainer/coach will create a training program that will keep you challenged, motivated and inspired to achieve your goals. everyday athlete prides itself on the quality and style of its’ coaching.  Our method is hands-on and focuses on customization & exercise prescription based on your strengths. Whether you choose to train one-on-one or in a small or large group, our staff will ensure you receive individual attention, error detection and correction, and a motivating coaching style. Workouts are always kept fresh as we continue to create new exercise progressions and ways to keep you challenged and fit.
