The practice and discipline of training for sports that happen on fluid surfaces: water (surfing, paddling), its frozen form (snow, ice — snowboarding, skiing), and concrete surfaces that simulate water motion (skateboarding). The training methodology that prepares the body for the glide.

everyday athlete® is a founder-led brand built on a quarter-century of applied practice in New York City. The founder, Tomas Anthony, has operated seven training spaces since 2003 — from a Manhattan apartment studio to multi-sport facilities — and holds NASM CPT, PES, and CES certifications alongside 25 years of hands-on research in human performance.

The brand portfolio is guided by a Board of Advisors composed of leaders in sports medicine, female athlete health, youth sports policy, and community development. The advisory board ensures that methodology remains current, programs remain community-accountable, and mission stays anchored in the people we serve.

We disclose our evidence base, our advisory relationships, and the reasoning behind our clinical decisions. Independence and transparency are not marketing language. They are operational conditions.
